The Corning men spent MLK Day on the road and earned an 83-71 win at Fulton Montgomery CC. Michael Stewart scored 18 first half points; enroute to a game-high 20 points, while Tyler Collins scored 15 and Jason Caldwell scored 13 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. The Red Barons shot 53% from the floor on the afternoon. FMCC went on a 7-0 run to start the second half but Corning put on their own 7-0 run with 12-minutes to play to take the lead for good.
Corning improves to 11-6 overall and 10-4 in Region III play. The Red Barons travel to Broome CC Wednesday evening for a pivotal MSAC match-up.
