The Corning men were able to hold on despite a late surge by the Cayuga Spartans and get a big 77-67 MSAC Conference win. The Red Barons outscored Cayuga by 8 points in the second-half and led by as many as 14 mid-way through. Efrain DeJesus had a huge game from behind the 3-point arc as he knocked down 7-three's on his way to a game and career-high 24 points. Tyler Collins continued to be a constant as he scored 15 points, dished 7 assists and had 5 steals. Jason Caldwell was a major contributor off the bench adding 10 points and grabbing 8 rebounds.
Corning travels to Onondaga Saturday.
