The Corning Community College women's bowling team competed at the NJCAA National Bowling Championship today and what a special day it was to be a Red Baron!
Natasha Evans and Alexus Hurlburt captured the National Championship Title in the doubles competition. They edged out the runners-up from Westmoreland CC by a mere 4-pins in the 3-game series. The duo rolled a 1098 total score.
This is the second doubles National Title the Red Barons have claimed in the past three years. Kaylin Grannis and Samantha McAtee claimed the hardware for Corning in 2012. Competition concludes tomorrow.
