Barons Men Fall to Erie CC in Season Opener

The Kats of Erie CC spoiled a gorgeous Saturday afternoon atop Spencer Hill as they defeated the Barons 4-0 in the season opener. 

ECC took an early 1-0 lead and the Barons defense held them to that score throughout the first half.  Early in the 2nd half, the Kats struck again to double their lead.  CCC keeper, Corey Swathout, was kept busy most of the 90-minutes and recorded 4 saves on the afternoon.

Corning is home on Wednesday with their MSAC Conference season opener as they host the Spartans of Cayuga CC.
