Red Barons End in 2-2 Tie

The Corning Community College men's soccer team traveled to Elmira College Thursday afternoon and walked away with a 2-2 tie.  The Red Barons started off the aggressor as Ryan Moore was able to score with a header from a Dan Earley throw-in just three minutes into the contest.   The Soaring Eagles answered twice within seven minutes as they found the net twice to take a 2-1 lead into the half. 

Earley was able to score a goal of his own on a Thomas Knapp assist at the 75th minute but that was all CCC could manage.  Corning outshot Elmira 16-14 on the day.  CCC's Caleb Drumm recorded 6 saves.  No overtime was played in the contest. 

Corning will visit FMCC on Sunday for their last game of the season.
