Soccer SIgns Florida Star Shirmohammad

Corning Community College and the men's soccer team is pleased to announce the newest addition to our family, Cobi Shirmohammad.  Shirmohammad signed his NJCAA National Letter of Intent to attend CCC in the Fall of 2015.

Cobi is from Land-O Lakes, Florida and competed for Sunlake High School.   During that time, he helped lead the team to an 87-5- 1 record.  His career was well-decorated as three times he earned All-conference awards, won 4 District Titles, 3 Regional Titles and made three FHSAA State Final Four appearances.  In his high school career, he scored 75 goals and distributed 55 assists.  He currently plays Club soccer with the FC Tampa Bay Rangers.

"We are extremely excited that Cobi is continuing his athletic and academic career at Corning Community College", stated men's soccer coach Tom Kirchhoff.   "He comes from a winning program and knows what it takes to win. This is exactly the kind of mentality we are trying to instill in our program and he will play a huge role in our ability to compete this upcoming season."
