The Corning Community College men's soccer team found themselves on the road for the second day in a row and down three goals at the half against Jefferson CC on Monday afternoon. Adversity did not seem to bother the Barons as they scored 3 goals within 12-minutes to play to force overtime and keep their hopes alive of a victory. Evan Kuhl got Corning on the board with 30-minutes to play thanks to a Henry Seeney assist. Three-minutes later, Sam Nunez scored on a ball from Cheick Coulibaly to creep within a goal of the Cannoneers. At the 72 minute mark, Walker Moss scored to tie the game. Neither team found the net in over the next 43 miutes of play until Moss struck again off a deflection to give Corning the double OT win. Tyler Morehouse recorded 15 keeper saves for Corning.
Corning's last home game is Wednesday, October 11 as they host Niagara CCC for a 2:30pm kick-off.
