Gosper and Peck Named First Team All-Region

CCC softball players Aja Gosper and Mollie Peck were selected to the 2013 All-Region First Team as announced at the NJCAA Region III Tournament Friday afternoon at Cornell University.  Peck, a shortstop, established herself as one of the top four infielders in the entire region while Gosper was selected as one of the top three outfielders from Region III. 

Gosper and Peck accounted for a large portion of the Red Barons offensive output this season.  The dynamic duo hit .433 and .441 respectively while combining for 77 runs, 84 hits, 23 doubles and 58 RBI's.  Both have been two-year starters for Corning and are repeat selections to the All-Region team.
