Women Fall to Jamestown

The Corning women played a very strong first half but ran out of gas against a bigger Jayhawks team.  Corning fell 71-49 and have started the season 0-2 against D2 opponents.  Kiara Buxton led the offense with 16 points and grabbed 6 rebounds.  Mackenzie Warner had 7 points and 4 steals while Sabrina Samuels added 7 points.  Emily Smith contributed 6 points and Taylor Sutryk had 6 poiints and 3 steals. 

The Red Barons travel to North Country CC this Sunday in their opening Region III, Division III match-up.
