Maracle and Notebaert Win National Championship

Victoria Maracle and Emily Notebaerthave captured the NJCAA Women's Bowling National Championship in Doubles competition.  The dynamic duo bowled a combined three game score of 1,112 in the three-game event to capture the crown.   Notebaert rolled a 612 while Maracle scored a 500.  Notebaert was the only competitor to reach a 600-series in the event.  The runners-up from Suffolk CC were 20 pins behind the Red Barons. 

The ladies will continue competing at the NJCAA Tournament through Saturday at Airport Lanes in Buffalo, New York in other events as well as the team competition. 

This is the third time in the past five years the Red Barons have won the NJCAA Women's Doubles National Championship.
