Ziegler Sign LOI in Women's Soccer

The Red Barons Women's Soccer program is excited to welcome Mallory Ziegler who has signed a NJCAA Letter of Intent to join our program in the Fall of 2016.  Mallory comes to the program from the Elmira High School where she was a two year varsity player.

While a member of the Elmira Express, Mallory was a very versatile player for the program ranging from Midfielder, Defender, and even Forward.  Mallory possesses the tactical awareness that we are looking for here at Corning. She brings with her the drive, and attitude to make a difference on and off the field of play. Along with her years at Elmira, she has also played for the last 9 seasons with the Soaring Capital Soccer club. Mallory has played at the premier level for the last five years. She has been named MVP of local tournaments, along with being named team captain at Elmira this past fall. In her senior year Mallory was named to the STAC division all star team as a midfielder.

Mallory's toughness, and physical prowess on the playing field will suit her well come this fall at Corning. Not only is Mallory a great addition to the soccer program, she is also a great addition academically to the college as she comes in with an outstanding GPA and ranked 5th in her senior class at Elmira. We are very excited to be adding a player of Mallory's caliber ad potentials to the program.
