The Red Barons Women's Soccer team would like to welcome two new additions to our program for 2016. Kendall Grover and Allison Pacer have signed NJCAA Letters of Intent to play at Corning next fall. These two players come with a wealth of soccer experience that will aid our program in reaching that next level.
Kendall comes to us from Bolivar-Richburg Central School where she was a four-year varsity player. Kendall is a hardworking and tactically sound player that will enhance our offensive presence next fall. In her four-year career she tallied 12 goals and 5 assists. She was named team captain her senior year, was named Section V Exceptional Senior for Allegheny County, and was named to the 2015 Big 30 all star team. Kendall was also named Allegheny County Player of the Week twice in her senior season, along with a First Team all star selection. Kendall not only possesses what we look for in a player on the field but she is also a great student as well.
Allison Pacer also joins us from Bolivar-Richburg where she was a three-year varsity Goalkeeper. Allison was named a Scholar Athlete of the Week twice in her career at Bolivar. She also holds the school record for most shutouts in a season with 10 and most career shutouts with 21. She was named Second Team all star her sophomore year of high school, and First Team her Junior year. In her sophomore season, she was also named Allegheny County Player of the Week, and Defensive MVP. Allison comes to us with two years of club soccer experience with the Southern Tier Futbol Club. Allison not only is a three sport athlete, but a well-rounded student that will excel both on and off the field.
We look forward to welcoming these two young players to Corning, and are excited to have them playing for the Red Barons next fall.
