6 in a Row as Women's Soccer Beats Nations #2 Team

The Red Barons women's soccer team had their biggest test of the season as they played host to the nations #2 team, the Herkimer Generals, on Sunday afternoon.

Corning found themselves up 2-1 at the half over the previosuly unbeaten Generals.  Carleigh Wallace struck first for Corning as she scored off a Taylor Sutryk assist.  13-minutes later, Victoria Finn would score on a PK.  Mackenzie Warner scored Corning's decisive goal in the 65th minute on a Wallce assist to give Corning the 3-2 win and their 6th win in a row.  Morgan Price continued to be strong in the net as she recorded 10 keeper saves.  The Red Barons are now 7-2-1 on the season.
