Tioga volleyball stars Alyssa Mosher and Sarah Heveland will continue to play together for at least another two years as they both signed NJCAA Letters of Intent to attend Corning Community College in the Fall of 2015.
Both ladies have impressive resumes. The duo led the Tioga Tigers to four-straight IAC Championships, two Regional Championships and a Final Four appearance at the 2013 State Tournament.
Mosher, a powerful outside hitter, was the go-to offensive player for the Tigers. She brings ample experience and a drive for success. She is a year-round volleyball player who plays club volleyball around her high school season. Alyssa was a 2014 First-team All-IAC selection.
Heveland, a libero, is a natural born leader and was a three-time captain of the Tigers squad. She was a two-time First-team All-IAC selection and an All-Region honoree. She was named to the 2014 3rd team All-State.
"I am very excited to see the impact these two young ladies will have on Red Barons volleyball the next two years", stated CCC volleyball coach Emily Andress. "Tioga Central is a strong program so there is no doubt they are fundamentally strong players and having the experience playing together will,be a huge benefit. They are players who have won, know how to win and will hopefully lead those around them."
