Volleyball Earns Post-Season Honors; Andress COY

The Corning Community College women's volleyball team had members honored as the NJCAA Region III Awards was unveiled. 

Jordan Raupers was named to the NJCAA Region III First-Team, top six players in Region III, for her solid performance this season.  Raupers recorded 1.77 kills per set this season, 4.7 assists and a total of 129 digs.  Amber Edwards was selected to the Second-Team for her 2.33 kills per set and 68 blocks on the season.  The Red Barons finished the season 26-7 and captured the MSAC Conference Title after going undefeated through conference play and the post-season tournament.  Corning Coach Emily Andress was named the 2015 Volleyball Coach of the Year.  Andress, in her 3rd season,has a career record of 69-25 with two Region III Final Eight appearances.
