Golf Team to Call Corning Country Club "Home"

The Red Barons men's and women's golf teams will have the pleasure of calling the 18-hole Corning Country Club its home course for practice and competition purposes.  Without a doubt, this is the premiere course used in Region III play.  Players find the course a good test of golfing ability because of tight fairways, changes in elevations and small, undulating greens.  Fairway traps and greenside bunkers are strategically placed to challenge the player's skill.  The Corning Country Club served as the host of the LPGA Corning Classic for numerous years and is the host site for the Red Barons Classic Golf Tournament Fundraiser Tournament that is held each May to raise funds for the CCC Athletics Department.
