The CCC men's bowling team dropped a 6710 to 6351 pin decision to Cayuga CC on Sunday at Rossi Lanes in Elmira, NY, but the Red Baron women beat their counterparts 5861 pins to 5674 pins.
The CCC men's bowling team dropped a 6710 to 6351 pin decision to Cayuga CC on Sunday at Rossi Lanes in Elmira, NY, but the Red Baron women beat their counterparts 5861 pins to 5674 pins.
On the men's side, in all events, Chris Potucek took 4th place with a 177 average on the day (1063 total pins), while teammates Alex Boughton finished 5th (1055) and George Hall finished 6th (1054). In the morning series, Potucek finished 4th of 13 and in the afternoon series, Hall was 2nd of the 13 bowlers.
The women took 1st and 2nd in the all events catagory with Kayla Coolbaugh averaging a 182 (1092 total pins) while Natasha Evans rolled a 178, collecting 1070 pins. In the morning series, Coolbaugh was 1st and teammate Diana Leonard was 3rd. In the afternoon series, Evans took 1st, Coolbaugh 4th and Leonard 5th of the 11 bowlers.
