Luca Signs with Red Barons Bowling
Corning Community College and the men's bowling program is pleased to announce the signing of Cameron Luca from Bainbridge-Guilford High School for the 2017 recruiting class.
Cameron comes to the program as a six-year varsity bowler and four-time 1st team MAC All-Conference bowler. He was a two-time member of the Section IV all-star team, including the 2016-17 team who recently won the New York State Championship. When asked about CCC, Cameron stated; "I'm excited to start the next chapter of my life and to bowl at then collegiate level. Bowling at this level has been a dream of mine for a long time and I'm glad I have this opportunity to continue bowling at Corning Community College. I'm looking forward to the 2017 season with the Red Barons!"
Cameron also led his teammates to three MAC championships and two Section IV Championships. B-G High School coach Jason Northrup shared, "Cameron brought consistency to the team, anchoring us through the most successful years of our program and becoming our most decorated bowler in school history. Good luck next year, I know he will be successful at Corning."
Red Barons bowling coach Ben Smith was equally excited about the addition of Luca. "Cameron's enthusiasm toward he sport of bowling will be a welcomed addition to our team. I'm excited to have Cameron join our men's team next season and look forward to working with him."
