Allington Places 4th, Punches Ticket To NJCAA Nationals

It is championship race season and Hayden Allington delivered once again at the NJCAA Region III XC meet hosted by Finger Lakes CC.

Allington gritted through the wet conditions around the 8k course and found himself in the lead pack of 5 runners coming out of the first mile. Allington continued fighting for position as the race went on, finishing the race in 4th place with a time of 28:52, this tops his 6th place finish in last years regional championship.

With the 4th place finish, Hayden claims his second All-Region Team honor. The runner also punched his ticket to compete at the NJCAA National Championship in Huntsville, AL. His second time competing in the invitational.

Coach Casey Swartz stated, "Hayden has put together one incredible season. Nationals is just a reward and exemplifies the true hard work that he has put into this season. I'm incredibly proud of him."

The NJCAA National Championship will take place Saturday, November 11th at 12pm in Huntsville, AL.
