The SUNY CCC women's basketball team won their second MSAC game in a row, defeating Finger Lakes in OT 54-50.
Trailing at halftime and late in the second half the Red Barons found themselves down 4 with under a minute to play when Gabrielle Randall converted a lay-up from the block cutting the Lakers lead to two points. After forcing Finger Lakes into a turnover, freshman Ava Bruehwiler made 2 free throws with :14 left to send the game into overtime. In OT, Bruehwiler again hit two more FT's with under :30 to go to give the Red Barons a 4 point lead. Kara Reese was 7-9 from the floor, scoring 14 points while Randall added 14 points as well. Taylor VanDine added 3 threes in the second half to help the team take a come from behind victory.
