Women's Bowling Finishes Region III Runners-Up

The Corning Community College women's bowling team had a strong showing at the NJCAA Region III Tournament this past weekend in Utica, NY.  The team finished as the 2015 Region III Runners-Up and had some very strong individual performances as well.

Natasha Evans and Alexus Hurlburt finished third in the doubles competition and the team of Amanda Becker and Temma Comfort finished fifth.  In singles competition, Victoria Maracle finished second and Hurlburt was right behind with a third place finish.  Overall Maracle finished fourth, Hurlburt 6th and Becker 7th.  Maracle and Hurlburt were named to the All-Region team.

With the impressive performance, the team has qualified for the 2015 NJCAA National Bowling Championships hoisted by Erie CC in Buffalo, NY on March 7 and 8th.
