Women's Bowlers Finish Second; Notebaert Top Finisher

Then Corning Community College women's bowling team participated in the Big Red Invitational hosted by Cornell University last weekend and finished second as a team. Corning finished 500 pins behind winner Schenectady but placed 500 pins higher than 3rd place Erie CC.
Emily Notebaert finished as the women's all events winner with a pin fall of 1197 for an average of 199.5 on the day. Teammate Victoria Maracle finished 5th overall with a 178 average while Heather Malloy placed 6th with a 176 average. Notebaert also had the 2nd highest game of the tournament for women with a 253 game and she posted the 2nd highest 3-game series of the tourney with a 633.
