Women Qualify for NJCAA National Tournament
The Corning Community College women's bowling team earned the Runners-Up trophy at the Region III Championship and punched their ticket to participating in the NJCAA National Tournament February 25-28 in Buffalo, New York.
The Corning Community College women's bowling team earned the Runners-Up trophy at the Region III Championship and punched their ticket to participating in the NJCAA National Tournament February 25-28 in Buffalo, New York.
The team comprised of; Amanda Becker,Temma Comfort, Stephanie Corbin, Heather Malloy, Victoria Maracle and Emily Notebaert will compete as a complete team and individuals in this weekends tournament. At the Regionals, Notebaert finished 2nd in the singles competition and 1st in All-Events while she and teammate Maracle won the Regional Crown in the doub les competition.
Four of the last five seasons the CCC women have qualified for the NJCAA National Tournament and have had National Champions emerge two of the last four years.
